Seasonal Cleanups & Holiday Lighting project by Tony's Landscaping in SE Wisconsin
What's Involved

Sharp in spring. Buttoned up in fall. Lit for the holidays.

The work doesn't stop when the install is done. We come back to wake the property up in spring, put it to bed in fall, and — if you want it — hang the holiday lights so you're not on a ladder in December. It's the difference between a landscape that was nice once and one that stays nice.

Our Approach

How we do it right

Spring sets up the whole year

Cutting back, edging, and re‑mulching in spring is what makes the beds look intentional for the next eight months.

Fall protects the investment

Leaves left to mat down over turf and beds cause disease and rot. A proper fall cleanup is cheap insurance on everything you planted.

Lights up, lights down

We hang the holiday lighting and take it down again in January. Nobody should be on an icy ladder in December.

Common Questions

Seasonal Cleanups & Holiday Lighting — the questions we get

When should I schedule spring cleanup?

As soon as the ground firms up — usually late March into April. Booking early matters, because the whole region wants theirs done in the same three‑week window.

Do you take the holiday lights down too?

Yes. Install in late fall, takedown in January, and we store them if you'd like. That's the entire point of not doing it yourself.

Is a fall cleanup really necessary?

In this climate, yes. Wet leaves matted over a lawn all winter cause snow mold and dead patches, and debris left in beds harbors disease. It's the cheapest thing you can do to protect the rest of the landscape.
