Irrigation

Sprinkler design and installation that waters the plants, not the driveway.

What's Involved

Water the plants, not the driveway

A well‑designed sprinkler system puts water exactly where it's needed and nowhere else — which keeps the lawn and beds healthy while keeping the water bill sane. We design zones around how your yard is actually planted, because lawn and garden beds want very different amounts of water.

  • Irrigation system design and installation
  • Zoned coverage for lawn vs. beds
  • Efficient heads and smart controllers
  • Spring start‑up and fall blow‑out
  • Integrated with new installs or existing yards

Our Approach

How we do it right

Zoned by what's growing

Turf wants frequent, shallow water. Shrubs and perennials want deep and infrequent. One zone for everything guarantees something is unhappy.

Smart controllers, lower bills

Modern controllers skip cycles when it rains and adjust by season. It's the easiest way to stop paying to water in a downpour.

Winterized properly

A fall blow‑out isn't optional here. Water left in the lines freezes, expands, and cracks them — and you find out in April.

Common Questions

Irrigation — the questions we get

Can you add irrigation to an existing yard?

Yes. It's a bit more invasive than installing during a new landscape build — we trench through established lawn — but the turf knits back over in a few weeks.

Do I need to winterize every year?

Yes, without exception in this climate. Any water left in the lines will freeze and split them. We do fall blow‑outs and spring start‑ups.

Will it raise my water bill?

Usually less than people fear, and often less than hand‑watering, because a zoned system with a smart controller only runs where and when it's needed — rather than a sprinkler left on the lawn for two hours.
